The University of Girona (Spain) will offer a course on Communication skills to 2 staff members from the University of Svay Rieng and Chea Sim University of Kamchaymear of Cambodia within the framework of the UNICAM project. Moreover, the course will also count with the participation of researchers, teachers and stakeholders from the University of Girona. The limit of vacancies was set to 10 people.
The course will be given by Abey Communication, which is a UK-based training company specialised in Business English Training for foreign executives. The purpose of the course is to help people with an academic or scientific background to communicate effectively to wider communities, especially addressed to use confidently social media, write impactfully and design and publicise community outreach projects. The course will include practical workshops to improve writing and video communication, as well as an opportunity to learn from and critique real sources. The group will also benefit from the opportunity to develop, share and evaluate new ideas for outreach programmes.
