A new intensive advanced training course (ATC) on Agro-Ecology will be given by the Université Paul Sabatier, Toulouse III (UPS) at the University of Battambang (UBB, in Cambodia) from 5th to 7th of June. As usual, the aim of this course is to train Cambodian staff partners, students and stakeholders to the advanced techniques in Sustainable Agriculture, and more specifically for this course, to gain knowledge in Agroecology for agriculture production by respect to the envionment.
This course will be taught by Prof. Jean-Pierre Sarthou from UPS and involves approximately 12 hours of lectures, working groups and cultural visits (click on https://www.facebook.com/projecte.unicam for more details). The course will include the following subjects: Understanding of agriculture diversity; choose of production system by taking into account the characteristics of the agro-ecosystem at different scales; Fertility management of agro ecosystem in a sustainable perspective and establish a culture in the most favourable conditions for the culture of success.
